At Sun Block Blinds (W.A.) Pty. Ltd. it is our extra services and attention to detail that ensure the highest quality final product. All of our Canadian Western Red Cedar slats are carefully colour graded and selected both before and during the assembly process. Our timber blinds are genuine and original and are available in either 46mm or 60mm slat sizes. Unlike some of our competitors who usually offer five year guarantees, our Cedar Venetian Blinds come complete with a 10 year guarantee on the lacquered finish against peeling, cracking or yellow tarnishing.

We use a 90mm harbour bridge headbox fascia (not 70mm like many other blind companies). When the blind is closed the extra width prevents penetration of light between the first slat and the headbox. Our fascia is attached to the blind with metal clips, not velcro, so that when the headbox heats up in the sun the headbox fascia doesn't fall down. This is a more effective system than the velcro system that can give way and lose its adhesiveness. Our headbox fascias are mitred on corner windows and bay windows. We also use return brackets for face fix blinds so the returns are securely reinforced, not just glued.

Our timber blinds are completely colour co-ordinated using matching cord, ladderbraid, timber acorns, timber buttons, cedar bottomrail, slats and headbox fascia. Unlike other blind manufacturers, we use timber buttons rather than cheap plastic ones, making the blinds truly handcrafted, quality timber blinds. In addition to this quality provision, at Sun Block Blinds (W.A.) Pty. Ltd. we do not complete the blind by stapling or wrapping the ladderbraid around the bottomrail; we use a unique pre-drilling and crimping method to assemble our blinds.
